Sally Phillips
Jewerly

Sally has always loved to work with her hands, constructing and creating.  About 10 years ago she discovered the art of wirewrapping jewelry.  She was intrigued by the many techniques that can be used in constructing a piece of jewelry and has decided you can do just about anything with wire.

The success of her current style  of wirewrapping is using heavy gauge half round and patterned wire of 14kt gold filled and sterling silver to create bracelets, rings, earrings, pendants and pins.  The materials she uses in her work have become her trademark of this technique of wirewrapping.

Sally's work has been accepted in major art fairs and festivals across the country. She enjoys the full time commitment to her art.  Along with creating her wirewrapped jewelry she teaches wirewrapping workshops and classes in enameling and glass fusing at the Indianapolis Art Center.
